Website privacy
These pages contain no contact form, advertising, browser-based analytics, tracking pixels or third-party embeds. The website code does not set cookies or use browser storage. We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect this website. Cloudflare may produce aggregate website traffic statistics from network requests and may use necessary security or authentication cookies when protection or access controls apply. Fonts and illustrations are supplied locally or by your device.
Delivering a website over the internet involves processing technical information such as your IP address, the requested page, request time and browser information. Hosting and network service providers process this information to deliver pages, maintain availability and protect against misuse. Our legitimate interests are operating a reliable website and protecting our systems and visitors.
We do not use website visits to build advertising profiles. There are no visitor accounts or automated decisions about individuals on this website.
Email correspondence
Email links open your chosen email application. Viewing a page or selecting a link does not send a message to Maxwell Labs.
If you contact us, we receive the contact details, organisation, message and attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, assess the enquiry and manage the resulting business relationship. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling relevant business enquiries. Where you personally ask us to take steps towards a contract, or become a party to a contract, processing necessary for those steps or that contract is based on that purpose. We may also retain records to meet legal obligations.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. Providing information is voluntary, although we may be unable to answer without relevant details.
We use Microsoft 365 for company email and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. Information is accessible to people who need it for the enquiry and to service providers supporting our email, hosting and business administration. We may share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful. We do not sell personal information.
We keep correspondence while it is needed to handle the enquiry or relationship, and afterwards only where there is a relevant legal, accounting or dispute-related reason. Retention depends on the nature of the record; information that is no longer needed is deleted. Technical request and security records are handled by the hosting and network providers for delivery, reliability and protection against misuse. Retention varies with the service and the security purpose; contact us for information about the records relevant to your request.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where an international transfer requires safeguards, we use an applicable adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.
For questions or to exercise a right, contact hello@maxwelllabs.co.uk. Depending on the circumstances, rights include access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability.
Right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent for a particular use, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data-protection regulator.
External resources
Publication and institutional links take you to independently operated websites. Those services have their own privacy notices, cookies and access conditions. External pages are requested only when you choose to follow a link.
The inclusion of a research link does not imply that a publisher, institution or co-author endorses Maxwell Labs or has a commercial relationship with the company.
Research, attribution & copyright
The research portfolio identifies work by the named researchers and their co-authors in an academic or collaborative capacity. It does not describe Maxwell Labs delivery history. Original affiliations, methods and limitations should be read in the linked publications.
Publication titles and bibliographic information are included for identification and attribution. Copyright in the papers remains with the relevant authors or publishers. Access to a linked paper does not grant permission to reuse it beyond its applicable licence.
Website text, layout and original engineering illustrations are presented for Maxwell Labs Limited. Third-party software retains its own copyright and licence terms. No third-party publication figures or personal photographs are reproduced in this edition.
Technical information
Capability and application descriptions explain areas of engineering expertise and potential work. They do not constitute a product specification, sector certification or guarantee of a particular result.
Project requirements, deliverables, responsibilities and any applicable assurance or acceptance criteria need to be established for the individual engagement. Research findings remain subject to the methods, assumptions and operating conditions of the original study.
